Being nice could cost you money

A recent report from the University of Essex found that women who adopt a more 'masculine' approach to work earn four percent more over a lifetime than those who are deemed ‘nice’. So with the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics showing that the pay gap between men and women is at 12.8%, do women need to toughen up at work, or does nice have its place? To discuss whether niceness pays, Jenni is joined by management and communications trainer Liz McKechnie and Deb Leary, a businesswoman and Vice President of the British Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
