The silence surrounding early pregnancy
Many women announce their pregnancies after a 12 week scan when the chance of miscarriage has dropped. But if a woman has kept quiet about her pregnancy and miscarries, what's it like dealing with the loss of her hoped for baby without friends, family and colleagues’ support? We explore why women tend to remain silent about early pregnancy and what impact this has if they miscarry. Jenni is joined by Ruth Bender-Atik from the Miscarriage Association, and Dr Ana Nikcevic a senior lecturer at Kingston University, who has researched psychological aspects of early miscarriage.Miscarriage Association
