Fiona Millar
On combining work and motherhood

Fiona Millar has spent most of her life working as a journalist and an advisor to Cherie Blair. As the 30-year partner of Alastair Campbell - Tony Blair’s spin doctor, she was part of one of the most important political couples in Britain at the height of the Blair years. And she has also raised three children. In her new book, 'The Secret Life of the Working Mother', she considers how she managed to juggle these three all-consuming roles, and looks into the pressures and opportunities for women today who want to have a family without abandoning their career aspirations.

'The Secret World of the Working Mother’ by Fiona Millar is published by Vermilion, ISBN: 978-0091924232
