Sex, Drugs and Chocolate
Exploring the science of pleasure

The writer Paul Martin explores the idea of pleasure in his new book 'Sex, Drugs and Chocolate'. He looks at pleasure's dark counterpart, desire, and its destructive nemesis, addiction. As well as an analysis of the history of sin, he examines the chemistry of our most basic emotions, explaining how pleasure has helped us to evolve and survive. He joins Jenni to offer some suggestions for delightful, but harmless pleasures, to keep us all happy.
