Has the racial barrier been broken?
The average earnings of black women in Britain are now higher than their white counterparts. The Office of National Statistics found that black Caribbean women earned on average £462 pounds a week, 6% more than white women, in the three months to October this year. So why are black Caribbean women doing so well now? Jenni is joined by journalist for The Voice, Trudy Simpson, and Dr Catherine Hakim, sociologist at the London School of Economics.
