Birth control for unfit mothers

Women in the Netherlands who are deemed unfit mothers by the courts should be prevented from having any more children for a prescribed period of time. Any babies conceived during that time should be confiscated at birth. This is an idea that is to be proposed by Marjo Van Dijken of the social democratic labour party PvDA. Jane talks to Marjo about the case for forcing birth control on unfit mothers. They are joined by Cathy Ashley, Chief Executive of the Family Rights Group and Joanna Nicholas, independent social worker and child protection trainer.
