Rape and High Court Rulings 6 Nov 2008
Encouraging more women to come forward and report rape

Two recent High Court rulings have strengthened the Government’s policy on rape. The High Court upheld the need for judges to advise juries about why women may delay reporting a rape. So what do these judgements mean and how will the Government balance the needs of victims with seeing justice done? Jane talks to Vera Baird QC MP, Solicitor General.
