Family
Favourite children 22 Aug 2008
Does every parent secretly have a favourite child?

One in six mothers say that they have a favourite child, according to a recent survey. They also confess to feeling guilty about it. So is it natural to be drawn to one particular child? What are the causes and what is the impact on the other siblings? Jane is joined by Titania Hardie, author and mother of two daughters and Minna Daum, Senior Family Therapist at the Anna Freud Centre in London.

The Rose Labyrinth by Titania Hardie is published in paperback by Headline Review November 13th 2008 ISBN-13: 978-0755344574
