Children's holiday camp
Should parents pack the children off to kids’ club on family holiday?

As parents fold away the school uniforms and try and remember where they put last summer’s buckets and spades, we examine the evolving format of the annual holiday. How many parents now consider they’ve only had a proper break if the kids are taken off their hands for at least some of the time? Writers Anne Karpf and Rhonda Carrier join Sheila McClennon to ask should parents send their children into kids’ clubs on a family holiday or does that defeat the object?
