“I turned my son in for burgling our home” 10 June 2008
Why a mother used tough love on her own child

Last week Susan Taylor hit the headlines when she admitted to turning her own son over to the police after a £50,000 burglary at her home. In March Thomas Bradley and a friend ransacked the family’s home in Bournemouth stealing jewellery and treasured possessions. Susan's decision means her son is now serving a nine month jail sentence. She joins Jenni to discuss why she has no regrets and thinks prison is the right place for him.
