From provincial Russia to post-war Liverpool: a vibrant new version of Chekhov’s classic drama

Tracy Ann Oberman, perhaps best known as Chrissie, the murderous wife of Dirty Den in East Enders, has spent fifteen years working on an adaptation of a Chekov classic. At last the work has come to fruition. Co Written with playwright Diane Samuels 3 Sisters on Hope Street Hope is a vibrant and witty new take on Chekov’s work that relocates the story from Russia to the Jewish community in post war Liverpool.
