The increasing trend for women to divorce later in life
Anne Robinson has divorced her husband at the age of 63 after 27 years of marriage. She is not alone. Figures from the Office of National statistics show divorce rates among the over 60s are increasing. So, is this women reclaiming their freedom, or a sad reflection of the pressures of modern life? And what are the financial and health implications if couples split in their twilight years?
Jane is joined by Wendy Salisbury, who is 61, twice divorced and author of The Toy Boy Diaries, and Dr Debora Price from the Institute of Gerontology at King's College London.
