Family
Widowed by Suicide 17 July 2007
Faye Blackwell on the impact of suicide on her family.

On hearing items on Woman’s Hour about the bureaucracy of becoming a widow, and the problems faced when someone goes missing, we were approached by Faye Blackwell, who wrote: "I could relate to both of these stories as my husband was found dead after going missing for 3 days. Our story goes one step further though, because my husband had comitted suicide - in France."

Faye has twins and joins Miriam on the programme to tell her story. They are joined by Di Stubbs, of the charity Winston’s Wish, which runs special camps to help children who have been bereaved by suicide.
