Emma Milne; celebrity vet's criticism of pedigree breeds 19 July 2007
Emma Milne
Is animal breeding causing health problems?

Emma Milne found fame as one of the vets featured in the BBC series ‘Vets in Practice’. Cameras followed her as she treated animals, and also as she dealt with the stresses and strains of the job. She’s now written a forthright book in which she’s scathing about animal breeding – a practice she blames for many of the health problems faced by the pedigree animals she sees. From tail docking to the Crufts dog show, all are in the firing line. She joins Miriam O'Reilly along with Caroline Kisko, Secretary of the Kennel Club.

‘The Truth About Cats and dogs’ is published by The Book Guild. ISBN; 978 1 84624 137 6
