Love it or loathe it, moaning is central to our culture. The Australians even call us ‘whingeing poms’. Now, a pub landlady in Lancashire has banned people from complaining during the week. Instead, she offers a weekly moaning amnesty on Sunday afternoons. It’s been dubbed the ‘unhappy hour’, but does it work?
