Study Leave for Students 08 May
It's revision time again! For many, the question of how to revise dominates family life, especially for those whose children are granted study leave to work at home. But while the most self-motivated students can benefit from several weeks of leave, many struggle to work in isolation and derive little from it. So, is study leave a chance for children to learn to work independently, or would more structured revision sessions be preferable? If your child is working at home, how can you ensure a harmonious and academically successful study leave? Jenni talks to Cassandra Jardine, author of How to Be a Better Parent and ex secondary head teacher, Jane Collins,  who is now a local authorities' School Improvement Partner.
