Penny Beale’s daughter was murdered by her partner in 2001. Since then Penny’s been trying to raise awareness about domestic violence – she’s even allowed a picture of her daughter taken after she died to be used in an exhibition. But what can a parent, or any family member, do if they suspect a loved one is in an abusive relationship? How do you best help without alienating them?
