Work
Bank Loans 8 Mar 2007
Bank of England
On the eve of International Women's Day, Margaret Hodge, the Government Minister responsible for Small Business will deliver a speech in the City focussing on the problems faced by our women entrepreneurs. Among other issues, she'll be challenging UK banks to explain why on average women are still being charged a whole percentage point more than men when it comes to paying interest rates on business loans.
Jenni will be asking Margaret Hodge and Eric Leenders, Executive Director of the Bntish Banking Association how we can redess this situation.
