Some 200,000 children may miss out on their first choice of secondary school this year and, with only 10 working days to lodge an appeal, some parents are just starting a two week frenzy before the deadline closes. Many parents are now so determined to get their children into the right secondary school that they have turned to new websites set up to help them fight their appeal. But how fair is the system and is it really accessible to all?
