As A level and GCSE results come out, are you a parent more concerned with your child's exam results than he or she is? Where does one draw the line between help and support, and actually doing some of their coursework yourself? If you are too much of a 'pushy parent', then your involvement may be causing long-term damage to your child's education, self esteem and stress levels. So how far should a parent get involved in a child's school work and activities, and when does your role begin to undermine a child's belief in their own capabilities?
