Women caught in the Middle East conflict 2 Aug 2006
As the weekend's tragedy in Qana increases the international pressure for a ceasefire on both sides, Jenni will be finding out what life is like for women who are caught up in the war in the Middle East . She'll be speaking to Amal Dibo in Beirut and Barbara Golan in Haifa about how the grinding conflict is affecting their daily lives. As the weeks wear on she'll be finding out how they are coping. Are they angry and determined for things to change or are they resigned to the instability of the region? How do they feel about the actions each side is taking and what is the impact on their families, their jobs and their futures?
