Molly Gee, an 88-year-old mother of a Huddersfield music teacher wrongly jailed for raping a schoolgirl, is campaigning for a change in the law to allow his accuser to be named.
Darryl Gee was convicted of raping and indecently assaulting the pupil more than a decade earlier, but the Appeal Court overturned the conviction saying it was evident the girl's claims were 'unreliable'. A reputation can be destroyed simply by an accusation, so should the law offer better protection against false allegations to professionals working with children?
Former care worker, Phil Fiddler and Jennifer Temkin, Professor of Law at the University of Sussex joins Jenni to discuss the issues.
