Extended school - all work and no play? 7 Jun 2006
The first extended schools offering care from eight o'clock in the morning until six o'clock at night will be in place by this September. In just four years time all schools will be expected to offer this service. But what will this will mean for our children and how can we ensure that the importance of play isn't forgotten?

Jenni is joined by Anne Longfield, Chief Executive of 4Children, Neera Sharma, Principal Policy Officer at Barnardo's and by Peter Smith, Professor of Psychology at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
