Palliative care - is there enough help for people who are terminally ill and their families? |

When people are suffering from a serious and potentially terminal illness the last thing they or their families want to do is spend time finding out what sort of help is available. But for many people that's exactly what they end up doing or they go without. The government has promised to place more emphasis on providing palliative care, but what does that actually mean?
