Abortion and Amnesty International UK 25 May 2006
Amnesty International UK has taken the first step towards dropping its neutral stance on abortion – passing a resolution to that affect at its annual general meeting. Many members are threatening to leave if Amnesty go on to enshrine abortion as a human right, saying it should be concentrating its efforts on trying to free prisoners of conscience.

Jenni debates the issue with Valerie de Fillipo,  Director of External Affairs, International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)  and Bruce Kent, peace activist and member of Amnesty International.
