Sexual harassment in the armed forces 26 May 2006
Yesterday the Ministry of Defence and the Equal Opportunities Commission signed an action plan to address sexual harassment in the armed forces. New research shows that 99% of service women - some 9,000 women - have been in situations in the last year where 'sexualised behaviours' had taken place. 15% of women reported having a 'particularly upsetting' experience. This is one of the most extensive pieces of research ever conducted into sexual harassment in the UK . So what is the MOD going to do about these appalling statistics?

Martha talks to Group Captain Sheila Haughton from the Ministry of Defence, and to Fiona Cannon, Deputy Chair of the Equal Opportunities Commission.
