The Way Out Club 01 May 2006
There aren’t many venues in the UK where men and women can freely dress up and express themselves as the opposite sex.

But one place in London is called The Way Out Club. It’s regarded as a safe haven for hundreds of cross dressers and trans-sexuals who wish to dance and socialise with like-minded people on a Saturday night.

As well as being a nightclub it offers live entertainment and very own changing room with make-up service. Our reporter Anna Bailey went along to its 13th birthday party to speak to some of its guests and founder Vicky Lee.
