Robert Mugabe's government was re-elected last year in Zimbabwe with an increased majority, despite his so-called slum clearance operation which resulted in more than 700,000 Zimbabweans losing their homes and livelihoods. Life Expectancy has fallen to just 33, and more than half the country's population is on the edge of starvation.
