Debbie Allen
Her West End directorial debut with an all black cast in Tennessee William’s Cat On A Hot Tin Roof

Debbie Allen is best known on screen for playing Lydia Grant, the dance teacher, in the original film and television series of Fame. Last year she made her Broadway directorial debut with an all-black cast in Tennessee Williams’, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof to sell-out audiences and the same production opens on Monday in London. Debbie joins Jenni to talk about her career as a choreographer, an actress, a singer as well as a director, and how it feels to be directing her elder sister in the play.
