The first university-based branch opens

Beauty treatments and sushi-making will be part of the agenda at the first ever student branch of the Women’s Institute, at Goldsmith’s University in London. The group were officially approved by representatives from the Women’s Institute earlier this week and already have a total of 43 members. It is the first time a branch has been formed at a university in the organisation’s 93 year history. Co-founder of the branch, 18-year-old English Literature student India Volkers, joins Jenni to talk about what she hopes to achieve
