A look ahead at the year to come.

Jane is joined by a panel of guests to look ahead to 2009. Eminent foreign correspondent Ann Leslie, Gillian Tett, assistant editor of the Financial Times, space scientist, Dr Maggie Aderin and director of Liberty Shami Chakrabati will be discussing politics, the economy, asking who’s predicted to do well this year and finding out what new technology we'll be grappling with. The panel are also joined by poet Caroline Bird with a special commission and VV Brown, the 24-year-old modern-day doyen of doo-wop.
