 The Academy Award nominee actress on her new role
Imelda Staunton is well known for taking on gritty roles like that of the back street abortionist Vera Drake, and for her rich and varied three-decade theatre career before she moved into film. In her latest role she plays a star-struck landlady looking after Burt Reynolds' character in the film ‘A Bunch of Amateurs’. She joins Jane to talk about her acting career and why she’s been described as ‘one tough cookie’.
