 Daring to be different.
The acclaimed actress, Tilda Swinton has carved out a reputation as a risk taker – an art house tour de force. Her early work included several film roles for director Derek Jarman and she has also been a performance artist, sleeping in a glass case for a week at the Serpentine Gallery. She made her Hollywood debut in The Beach with Leonardo Di Caprio and this year she won an Oscar for her role as a morally compromised lawyer in Michael Clayton, starring opposite George Clooney. Tilda talks to Jane about her career, including her latest role, in the film Julia, in which she plays an alcoholic who tries to extort money by using a young boy as bait.
Julia is released in the UK on Friday 5th December.
