 Top prize for female physicist
Leading physicist Athene Donald has just scooped one of the most prestigious awards for female scientists. She is only the second British scientist to be made a laureate for Unesco/L’Oreal’s Women in Science awards. Her work in physics was applauded for its cross-disciplinary approach. For example, her research into proteins is helping clinicians to better understand Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. She joins Jenni to discuss her passion for the physical world. |
