Coping with an eating disorder during pregnancy

A recent study has found that as many as one in twenty pregnant women may have an eating disorder sometimes referred to a pregorexia. So how do you cope with the pressures of pregnancy whilst suffering an eating disorder and what are the health implications for an unborn child? And are images of skinny post-pregnant celebrities like Nicole Kidman sending the wrong message about motherhood and self image? Kate Dean has been anorexic since her teens and her condition worsened during her recent pregnancy. Dr John Morgan runs a centre for eating disorders in Yorkshire and Imogen Tyler is a lecturer in sociology at Lancaster University. They join Jane Little to discuss these issues.
