 On her new play Her Naked Skin
Her first play was about table dancers in Soho, her second won the Critic’s Circle Theatre Award for Most Promising Playwright in 2004. Rebecca Lenkiewicz’s latest work, Her Naked Skin, is an account of the Suffragettes in the first years of the 20th century. It looks at violence, imprisonment and love under fire, and it’s the first play by a woman ever performed on the National Theatre’s main Olivier stage.
