As the very first ever Dr Who themed prom concert takes place this Sunday, Woman’s Hour looks at the life and work of Delia Derbyshire the woman behind the distinctive theme tune. Delia Derbyshire was an eccentric, charismatic and talented composer who, although relatively unknown during her life, is now enjoying cult status. Jane speaks to sound engineer Dick Mills and composer Elizabeth Parker, who both worked at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop where Delia worked for eleven years.
