 Regulating lap dancing clubs
As well as liberalising pub opening hours, the Licensing Act 2003 abolished the power of local councils to regulate lap dancing clubs. Over three hundred such establishments have opened throughout the country, and several court cases have shown that local residents often have no legal recourse to stop them opening in their neighbourhoods. Jane talks to Kat Banyard, one of the co-ordinators of a campaign to increase regulation and Chris Knight from For Your Eyes Only, one of the oldest chains of lap dancing clubs in the country.OBJECT
