 Legendary British jazz singer
Norma Winstone is a true legend of British jazz. In the 1960s she came to prominence with her pioneering use of vocal improvisation, she later became internationally known with the group Azimuth and last year she was awarded an M.B.E. She joins Sheila to talk about her eclectic musical influences, the inspiration for her songwriting and to explain in what ways the jazz world has changed for women in the past fifty years.
