Child Prostitution 27 March 2008
Child
The British children being groomed for prostitution by criminal gangs.

The Government believes that 5000 British children are currently being used as prostitutes - and a Panorama investigation has revealed that many are being traded by criminal gangs. So what can be done to protect these children, and is their welfare being taken seriously enough by the Police and the Home Office ? Jane Little talks to Panorama reporter, Gerry Northam about his investigation and explores the issues with Mohammed Shafiq from the Ramadhan Foundation.
