Female Comedy Duos 13 March 2008
french & saunders
As French and Saunders bow out who will keep the tradition going?

When it comes to performing together for laughs, are two women as funny as two men? From Laurel and Hardy, Morecambe and Wise and The Two Ronnies through to the likes of Armstrong and Miller today, a rich seam of male comedy duos has kept us chuckling through the years. But what of their female equivalent?
Jane is joined by Don Ward, Producer and Owner of The Comedy Store in London & Manchester and Dead Ringers comedienne, Jan Ravens, to look at funny female pairings. And as French and Saunders embark on their farewell nationwide tour they'll be asking who is left to keep the tradition alive?
