The spotlight is on Liverpool this year, as it becomes the European Capital of Culture 2008. Many of those who live in the city have a real sense of pride about the place, but what about the women who no longer live there? Liver birds have flown around the world, but how much can you take Liverpool out of the girl? To discuss the scousology of Liverpool girls Jane, who’s from the city herself, is joined by writers Lynda La Plante and Heidi Thomas.
