A study into how families cope in cities

A new study of parenting in the inner cities is warning that unless something is done to make them more appealing for families then severe community breakdown is inevitable. In ‘City Survivors’ Professor Anne Power warns that families are in crisis – poverty, crime and immigration all adding to the pressure they find themselves under.  Professor Power joins Jenni along with community worker, Brenda Austin, from Beswick in Manchester to discuss what might be done to reverse this decline.
