 The 'Queen of New Wave' returns with a new solo album.
Pop stardom came late to Deborah Harry – but now at sixty two, she’s still managing to maintain her position as 'The Queen of New Wave'. After a suburban New Jersey childhood, Deborah escaped to New York, doing a variety of jobs and performing in various bands. Here she met a guy called Chris Stein and Blondie was formed. Chart topping hits like 'Heart of Glass' and 'Atomic' remain classics to this day. Deborah talks to Ritula about her new solo album 'Necessary Evil', as well as Blondie's involvement with the new West End Musical 'Desperately Seeking Susan'.Deborah HarryDisclaimer
