No more nooky for the men until they stop fighting.
Inspired by Aristophanes’ Lysistrata, Blake Morrison has written a new play about a northern town where the women ban the men from their beds in order to bring them to their senses. Miriam O'Reilly is joined by Blake Morrison and Edith Hall - Professor of drama and classics at Royal Holloway, University of London - to discuss both Lisa's Sex Strike and Aristophanes's classic comedy.
Lisa's Sex Strike is at The Octagon Theatre, Bolton from 6th - 22nd September.
