 Dementia care home places – are there enough?
By 2025 over a million people in the UK will have dementia, and a large proportion of them will be elderly. The government has recently announced a national dementia strategy but is it enough?
Ritula speaks to Elizabeth who is trying to get her father, who has Alzheimers, into a care home and asks whether the care home system can cope with the rise in demand.
