Suzi Quatro
On fame, fortune and family and her new autobiography "Unzipped".

She’s back and she’s “Unzipped” – the rocker Suzi Quatro joins Ritula Shah to talk about her autobiography, a frank account of a life of great highs and some lows. Born in Detroit, one of five talented and musical children, she had to find her place in the family - and eventually managed to outshine them when the legendary producer Mickie Most spotted her. She had lonely months in London before success came but perhaps inevitably she was to strike gold with her leather-clad image and her bass-playing, gravel-voiced sound. She looks back on her life and reflects on fame, fortune and family.

“Unzipped” by Suzi Quatro is published by Hodder & Stoughton, ISBN: 978-0-340-93749-5.
