Music
Carla Bruni 4th May 2007
Carla Bruni
The French-Italian supermodel Carla Bruni spent a dozen years on the catwalks of Paris, Milan and New York before launching her first album of chansons. Born to a composer and a concert pianist, she returned to her musical roots when the modelling dried up. Her second album sees her setting a selection of nineteenth century lyric poetry to music. Carla talks to Jane about what drew her to this poetry and her love of English verse.

Carla Bruni's “No Promises” is released on May 7th 2007 by Dramatico.
