Self-help Shakespeare 23 Apr 2007
In 1999, Laurie Maguire, an English literature fellow at Oxford University, found herself unlucky in love, health and finance. Her reaction was to reach for the self-help books. Now she has written one of her own, but with an unusual foundation -  the complete works of Shakespeare. Exploring dilemmas, ranging from unrequited love to problematic family relationships, she talks to Ritula about how Shakespeare himself was aware of these follies of life, and the wisdom that his characters and plots impart.

Where There's A Will There's A Way by Laurie Maguire. Published on Monday 23rd April by Nicholas Brealey Publishing. ISBN 10: 1857883969 or ISBN 13: 9781857883961
