Are you an eldest child, and feel your younger siblings get away with murder? A youngest child, and feel overshadowed by older brothers or sisters? Or are you a middle child, and considered ‘difficult’? Do you have sisters that you love, but also hate?
Woman’s Hour will be looking at the tricky issue of sibling relationships in adulthood. Why is it that the competitive relationships you establish in childhood carry on into later life? How does having children of your own, or caring for ageing parents, change those dynamics – or perpetuate them? And what happens if you don’t have any brothers and sisters – does that make life more or less difficult?
We’d like to hear your experiences. You can email us, or join the discussion on the messageboard
